In the course of the Dreiländertagung 2019 the Karl Kraus Prize was ceremoniously awarded in the City Hall of Vienna on 21.02.2019. Winner of the first prize is DI Lukas Winiwarter (TU Vienna, University of Heidelberg), who was nominated with his topic "Classification of 3D Point Clouds Using Deep Neural Networks" by a jury of several people and received the prize personally from Ms. Kraus.
