Positive 5-Year Evaluation of our Christian Doppler Laboratrory
The 5-Year Evaluation of the Christian Doppler Laboratory for Spatial Data from Laser Scanning and Remote Sensing coordinated by Prof. Wolfgang Wagner and Prof Josef Jansa was successfully completed on 14. November 2008. The evaluation team consisted of a reviewer from the United States and members of the Senate of the Christian Doppler Research Association (CDG). The evaluation considered the scientific achievments of the Christian Doppler Laboratory in the years 2006-2008, highlighting in particular the research in the fields of full-waveform airborne laser scanning and the modelling of natural and artifical objects. The laboratory will last for another two years until the end of 2010.
